THE QUEST FOR ‘OPE This month has been the longest year of our lives. The federal occupation of our cities has led to an ✨️understandably✨️ record-breaking amount of cancellations and reschedules, and our artist needs your help. Our colleague, beloved tattoo artist, @fregolaura will be undergoing medically necessary surgery on one of her hands, leading to an extended recovery time, putting her out of a few months of work. After years of pain, her hands have simply stopped working in the way that this career requires. To help make ends meet while she is out of the studio, we are hosting a flash day in her honor on Feb. 13  from 11a.m. - 7p.m. Each piece will be approximately three by three inches in size, line work only, and can be placed on the arms and legs.  $150 per tattoo, limit of 2 tattoos per person. 💖All F✨️CK 🧊 tattoos and Rebel Loons will have their proceeds donated to the Immigration Law Center 💖 In addition, for the month of February, we will be accepting shelf stable food donations, menstrual care, hair care, paper goods, and hygiene products to donate to @neighborhoodhousemn to help support those in our community most in need and to help ensure that the shelves stay stocked. For every two items you bring in, you will be entered to win a $150 gift card to the studio. Here at Weird Ink Society, we have always prioritized community. We recognize that this ask is coming at a time when the world is already requesting so much of us. We hope that those of you who stop in and those of you who are needed elsewhere know of our immense gratitude for you and all that you are doing. We had an appointment with Mitch, my wife and I. 1. The shop was clean and comfortable. The vibe is unmatched and this felt like the place you want to come back to and battle through the temporary pain for the incredible result 2. He was honest and calm about every question, understanding budget, design, and tolerance. He was also truthful about what to expect with the body parts chosen as far as pain and experience. 3. He supported the process and gave breaks when needed, but also knew when you could handle and power through. The result is nothing short of stunning. I scheduled a sleeve before I left and cannot wait to come back to this shop until I have no ideas left to put on my skin.

Very, VERY cool’s spot. Weird Ink has a great atmosphere and is very comfortable and welcoming, but also exceptionally clean. Everyone there is really nice and friendly. We go to the tattoo artist Anna Paulette there, and have been going to her for years. She’s done about 10 tattoos of ours between my wife and I, and her work is exceptional. She’s also a really fun person to be around when getting tattooed so that always makes the experience even better. I can’t recommend Weird Ink enough. Everyone there is very talented and professional, but if you need a recommendation go to Anna. Her original designs are incredibly good as well!
